Green Chemistry & Innovation: FCUB Participation at ChemInno Conference

Recently, members of the FCUB research group participated in the ChemInno conference in Belgrade – an event dedicated to connecting science, innovation, and industry through sustainable and modern chemical research.

As part of the conference program, Dr. Jelena Trifković delivered a lecture titled: “Green Extraction of Bioactives from Fruit and Vegetable By-products for Food Applications” 🌿♻️

Her presentation focused on sustainable approaches for obtaining valuable bioactive compounds from agro-food by-products, highlighting the importance of green chemistry and circular economy principles in modern food science research.

In addition to the lecture, members of the FCUB team also presented their research through poster presentations, contributing to scientific discussions and showcasing ongoing work within the group. 🧪📚
