🌍🌱 PURE-WAY in Argentina: Strengthening International Research Collaboration! 🇦🇷
We are excited to share that researchers from our project partner BioCombact, PhD Ivica Dimkić and Dejan Lazić, are currently undertaking a one-month research secondment at the Faculty of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, National University of Rosario, Argentina, as part of the PURE-WAY MSCA project! 🔬
🧪 Within Work Package 1 (WP1), their research focuses on the valorisation of fruit and vegetable waste and by-products through green extraction using Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES), alongside the chemical and biological evaluation of the resulting extracts.
🤝 Beyond laboratory activities, our colleagues are exchanging scientific expertise through presentations, discussions, and visits to leading research institutions in Rosario, exploring new opportunities for collaboration in sustainable agriculture, microbial biotechnology, and circular bioeconomy.
🌿 These activities highlight the importance of international knowledge exchange and cross-sectoral collaboration, bringing together researchers and industry partners to transform agro-food waste into valuable resources.
